Ubuntu x64 vs Windows 8.1 x64

Hi
Im having some problem weed my madsonic installation, so now i'm thinking of going over from ubuntu to windows.
but i have one thing i'm curious about, should i run x64 Madsonic on windows or 32-bit? whats the benefit off running 32-bit vs x64 Madsonic? can i use more memory? (the windows is x64 windows 8.1 pro)
The server is a Amd opteron 16 core, 32gig ram
and when i'm installing Madsonic on ubuntu x64 is it then a 32-bit madsonic or a x64 madsonic? ( for window it say x64 and 32 but for debian it only say Madsonic)
