Switch between list of songs or albums for artist

I have a lot of partial albums (1-2 songs from each album) and my folders are ordered as Artist/Album/Song. When I click on an artist name in the browser, I see a list of the albums. It would be nice to have the option to show a list of songs or a list of albums to avoid having to click down through an extra layer just to get to a single song. What would be really nice is to show a tabular list of songs w/ various tags as the columns and make the columns sortable.
