Madsonic Support

In the browser Madsonic shows the IP-address instead of domain name:

http://66.66.66.66:4040:index.view

any way to change it to

http://XXXXXXX.subsonic.org ?

Or is this a subsonic redirectin problem?

Hi there,

as default madsonic use own sharing, but you can activate subsonic Premium Feature (settings->general) to use the xxx.subsonic.org sharing function.
This is no madsonic feature and you need the original subsonic license to use it. http://www.subsonic.org/pages/premium.jsp

I have been using premium for more than year now. And this bothers me because I'm running dyndns along and dyndns forwards show right domain name. xxx.dyndns.org

i'am runing a madsonic session mit dyndns without any problems.

set this in settings -> Network and configure your port redirection with dyndns.
