HOW DO I MAKE MADSONIC (5.0.3780) START UP AT SYSTEM BOOT TIME (on a headless machine -- no local user loging in)?
Ubuntu 13.10
Subsonic used to start automatically when the system booted. Looks like madsonic doesn't.
How do i even start it manually?
Thankyou

solved this by removing madsonic..
i hadn't realized the two most recent builds didn't have a .deb and had kind og kludged the installation...
i went back two builds and found one with a .deb package, downloaded THAT, and installed it - Voila! Starts at system boot time as a service.
Now i just need to understand how to apple the two builds after it

Stop Madsonic, then Download the .WAR version of the latest build, then unpack it to your /usr/share/madsonic folder, and finally restart Madsonic. The WAR file will "unzip" itself into the proper place, and you will then have the latest version.

how do you make mad sonic start at boot time on a Mac? right now, with a normal installation, it only starts after i login and manually start it. i'd like mad sonic to start when the system boots, and BEFORE any users have logged in...
