[Solved] Bluetooth on Laptop

Hello, I come back with a new problem

I have a Samsung laptop running Kubuntu 13.04 and KDE 4.11.1
When I listen music with Madsonic and Firefox everything works perfectly on speakers

Today I bought a bluetooth audio headset and with Amarok or Dolphin I can hear music normally
But I get no sound with Madsonic, whether with firefox, chromium or rekonq

I also tried to watch a video on youtube with Firefox and I have no sound
Perhaps because theses browsers are not native KDE applications

Is it possible to add bluetooth support on Madsonic server ??

Thanks

Sounds like a laptop driver issue, not a Madsonic issue. I can stream to my BT headset from either my laptop or my Android phone with no problems.

I'd start by checking for updates for your bluetooth driver, making sure it supports A2DP (bluetooth stereo format), and make sure it's connected to your laptop before opening Firefox or Madsonic.

I had same kind of problems on Mint and pulse audio was the problem. Streaming worked only throught vlc and spotify and notting else...
Solved with another bluetooth adapter that had drivers on its own not kernel drivers...

I found the solution, need to install alsa-oss which is not installed by default in Kubuntu

sorry for the inconvenience
