Split out multipe genre/mood tags

if a mood tag or genre tag has multiple elements in it for instance I've got one that comes up as
rock; progressive rock; folk rock; progressive; blues rock
(lets not even into how some of those seem to contradict themselves). It would be really nice to break each of those out so when I'm looking for, say, blues rock I will get hits from this artist. Right now it seems to match against the whole genre tag. Same with moods. Picard will separate them with either a ; or / characters so looking for one of the two when loading the tag and splitting them would be wonderful.
