Madsonic Android Client Functionality

Unread post by mlutzow »

Don't know if this should go in help or here.

I recieve on some days, between 30 to 40 new songs and podcasts that are automatically retrieved. When these files are downloaded and added to my library I have no way of telling what files have been recently added.

Another product that I used to use (which has been turned off) would add the files to a 'Newly Added' 'playlist' or folder that displayed the file name and certain other information and would allow adding to the queue or playlists if selected.

Can Madsonic perform a similar function...display 'new' files added to the library in the 'New Add' area for some period of time, with the newest files sorted to the top of the list.

The only files that show up right now in the 'New Add' are folders / files that I physically create / add to the library.

This would be a tremendous improvement and help to the users of my server in my opinion.

hi,

first part is integration into database and interface.

I found no info about the time-stamp when the files are scanned,
so i adopted database and interface to capture first scan of files.

This works well with the security groups so users can only see
these files to which they have access.

later i will add this also in REST API

best regards
