Its impossible for me to set the icons in settings - icons
I am using 4.8.3312 Beta3

Good morning,

I upgraded to the latest beta this morning, and it appears to have broken the Icon Settings page... no matter what I check or uncheck, the icons stay the same.

The top frame does a refresh, but does not change.

I found out when I went to look at the version number in the "about" screen... it was checked off in the icon settings, but it did not appear. I unchecked it, saved settings, and rechecked it, and saved settings, but no change.

Then I tried a bunch of the other icons, and nothing seemed to happen.

hi, i forgot to explain the recent changes in more detail.
Since last version the top-icons for the Admin-Role are always visible.

so just create a new user without the Admin-Role and it should work.

VersionService check for new Version is only every 7 Days or on Service restart.

i've just a fresh install of the latest version and icons not working for me.. tried unchecking a few (was actually looking for the "about" icon which i have now ticked but the ones i want gone are still there and "About" is a no show

Any advice

You can click the "MadSonic" logo (when logged in) to view the Help/About info.

ah brilliant.. cheers for that logging in as a non admin does appear to show the correct icons i want...( as mentioned in the posts above..)
