no Webgui on RPI4 unless manually launched

Unread post by scotbar »

I'm running a brand new raspberry pi 4/8gb with the latest Raspbian Buster OS with recommended applications and Madsonic stable 6.2.9084.
I've installed madsonic using the process https://www.electromaker.io/tutorial/bl ... spberry-pi
after i reboot my pi and i get no webgui.
if i logon to the pi with ssh and manually run 'madsonic' or '/usr/bin/madsonic' everything works as it should
I have confirmed that the settings and configuration files are correct and once i launch manually i can use it as it should be used but have to manually run the command every reboot.

I've tried to put the command into the init.d and systemd locations but the gui doesn't start

Anyone have a suggestion?
i don't want to use a .bash command with auto logon if i can avoid.
I've done a complete fresh reinstall of both the os and madsonic with the same result.
