Volume level on streaming video playback in Chrome

Hello Madsonic community,
I have noticed even back when i was using Subsonic that videos that I stream from my server always have very low audio volume. This has continued in madsonic, both versions that I have used. I was wondering if there is a way to change this. All of my videos are .mp4 so I don't think they have to be transcoded although I may be mistaken about that. The files themselves have good volume levels. I have found the ffmpeg command to turn the volume up on a stream but I just don't know where the streaming command is located in madsonic and if I could adjust it.
Can anyone enlighten me on this topic? Surely there must be some way to turn the volume up.
