Mobile clients do not authenticate correctly with 6.0.7450

Using Dsub Beta 5.0.1, Madsonic Beta 6.0.7450.
The beta version of Dsub against 6.0.7200 authenticated just fine. Once the server upgraded to .7450, the DSub client could no longer authenticate. Instead, it gives a "bad username or password" error. If I downgrade the server to 7200, it starts working again.
Also, if I go and disable the REST API emulation, then nothing seems to change. However, I don't know what to expect when that is disabled. I was expecting that DSub would start working again because it would act like .7200 again.
