Madsonic Support

Hello,

Is there any way to remove the login system for Madsonic? I'd love to open up my madsonic publicly.

Also, is there a way to make a CDN work on streaming music?
I'd like to point it to maxcdn (CDN Mirror) and stream music using the cdn. Can you please tell me what file in subsonic's source code do I need to edit to achieve this? I just need to replace the url, to (cdn.mymadsonic.url/some.mp3)

I wouldn't recommend disabling the login screen. Users will tend to create their own "personal" playlists based on the music you are sharing, and not logging in (or having everyone sign in with a single ID and password) would negate this process. This is just one example though.

If you do want to open your site up publicly, you can do what I did and allow users to create their own ID/password, and with email verification, they will have access to your library. I posted instructions over on the Subsonic Forum: http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtop ... =6&t=12340
