First of all, thanks for MADSONIC. I use it everyday!
I have to report a problem with HQ flac files though. By HQ mean flacs with 24 bits per sample and 96000 Hz or above.
Madsonic recognizes these files just fine, just like any audio file. Transcoding to Android and iOS Smartphones also works with these kind of files, BUT it can't play these files via Jukebox mode.
Every other filetype works fine via Jukebox, but it seems that Madsonic can't handle playing these kind of files.
Best regards, cocoman
Problems with HQ flac files
Re: Problems with HQ flac files
playing on mobile clients has nothing to do with madsonic it self, the transcoding is done on the mobile devices it self.
if you cant play these files. try to alter the transcoing settings,
get rid of khz and kbps settings.
have a try.

Re: Problems with HQ flac files
This is a transcoding problem of the HQ FLAC file and depends on the used ffmpeg version.cocoman wrote: I have to report a problem with HQ flac files though. By HQ mean flacs with 24 bits per sample and 96000 Hz or above.
Please retry it with an older ffmpeg version which supports 96000Hz FLAC much better
