I found several entries in search, but not any solution,

How to disable Organize by folder structure setting in Media Folders Menu.

: after fresh install, first check.

I have installed from scratch, no settings was changed, logged in as admin.

Any answer to this? I'd really like to get compilations into Madsonic properly without having to completely restructure my library to reflect a quirk in Madsonic
