Data from last.fm for new artists

Unread post by StalkerNOVA »

When you add new artist Madsonic 6.1.8440 don't fetch any info from last.fm automatically. Only small artist art in the top right corner.

You need to add artist art from "Artist hub" (because there is no button for that if you're in the artist directory). Then you get artist profile with all features like top tracks and similar artists.

It would be nice to have it available automatically when new artist detected by Madsonic.

Also Top Songs requires manual refresh separately.

What do you mean by "Artist Hub"?
I have noticed that sometimes the last.fm info seems to pull the small icon in the right and the top tracks, top albums, band info but when I am browsing by Artist from the Homepage, the artist will not have any art.

my version: MADSONIC 6.1.8280.4b123ec.20160505.0842

Thanks I upgraded the beta installation I had and it made the Artist Hub visible. (Not saying it wasn't there before, maybe I just had it disabled)
So yeah just bumping, I added some new music to the library and saw exactly what you described, now I have a bunch of artwork to update!
