last.fm to scrobble music I played via stream

Hi,
I just installed madsonic 6 and really like it so far (well, once you get a hang on the cluttered webinterface
)
I was wondering if it is possible to have madsonic scrobble the tracks I'm listening to via an external application, so that the application doesn't need last.fm support?
So the usecase is: I'm listening to my music via submariner and want the tracks scrobbled.
Is that possible?
