hi guys. Konbanwa.

Im Japanese madsonic user
I need help.

I always launch normal scan after makes new sub-folder and add songs or move files.
but normal scanning cannot add songs on madsonic.
so, I launch FULL-SCAN 2 times.
at first in FULL SCAN failed to add songs.
second time FULL SCAN success to add songs.

but sometimes all stars disappear in my starred song.
so I started to star song from the beginning...

can anyone tell me about this things?

Server spec.
Windows 8 64bit 2GB
always using newest madsonic.

finally , FULLscan almost fail to add songs....

I had the same problem that "Scan media folders now" did not find any new music.

Then I found this thread:

Go to settings

Uncheck any directories in "Media Folders" that have folders or files that are not showing.

Save

Click on Clean-up database

Scan media folders

Recheck all folders

Save

Rescan

Enjoy music

I did these steps, and madsonic now can play my new music!
