[FAQ] Moods

Unread post by Madsonic »

Moods Support

You can use Moods only if your Mediafile-Tags support this.

INFO

http://id3.org/id3v2.4.0-changes

http://www.jthink.net/jaudiotagger/tagmapping.html

Moods are only supported if you use ID3v2.4 Tags, if you have only ID3v2.3 it doesn't work! \c:=

Madsonic support ID3v2.4 but many compatibility problems still exists with other SW/HW player,
test it with a banch of files, if all your hardware support ID3v2.4.

To convert/fill & correct your Tags i used the following Tools

[*]MP3-Tag - http://www.mp3tag.de/en/index.html

[*]MusicBrainz Picard - http://musicbrainz.org/doc/MusicBrainz_Picard

[*]LastFMPlus - Extended Picard Tagging - http://wiki.musicbrainz.org/Picard_Docu ... Lastfmplus

Finally it looks like

Here is another plugin for MusicBrainz Picard which should accomplish the mood tagging.
https://github.com/fdemmer/Picard-Last.fm.ng-Plugin
I found this after realizing the lastfmplus plugin was not working for me. I read somewhere that it stopped working after a change in the last.fm site but cannot seem to find it now. Can anyone confirm?
