Very good news !!!! :P

I was "forced" to return to Subsonic because there was no Madsonic package available for my NAS, now I'm glad to see that I will be able to use Madsonic once again :D

Can't wait

I reinstalled, but same problem.

After a few days using Madsonic 5.0 on my Syno DS112 runing on DSM 5.0.
- better use last java SE ver 8 : better disk & RAM usage.
- transcoding works well
- i found that tag reading is worse than subsonic : some of my albums have no tags at all.
- nice interface, smooth and slick!!

Thanks Mad for releasing it and i'm looking for 5.1 update!

lionelkw wrote:Do you have some special setup for making transcoding work? Apart from installing Serviio.
No just copy the ffmpeg binary from serviio folder, chmod 655 and usual command line in Madsonic transcoding options. I only use Madsonic for audio files.

Now i have the following file in the following folders.
But transcoding still doesn`t work:
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 153616 Apr 10 07:47 ffmpeg
/usr/syno/synoman/webman/3rdparty/Madsonic/transcode
/volume1/@appstore/Madsonic/transcode

my downsample command is:
ffmpeg -i %s -ab %bk -v 0 -f mp3 -
