Play All Feature

Unread post by magikbus »

There may already be a way to do this and I just haven't found it yet. I'd like to be able to just hit play all on all of my music files, not just those of a specific artist or album, but my entire library.

The closest thing I've found is on the "More" screen. You can generate up to 350 tracks from your entire library at random. That's somewhere around 16 hours worth.

I figured out how to do this, essentially to get a play all feature put all music in a subfolder within the one you are sharing. So inseated of your folder structure being Music/Artist/Album where Music is the top level. Set it up as Share/Music/Artist/Album where "Share" is the top level. Then you can play all when you click on Music. It helps to also share the Music folder as a secondary top level, so that you can still search in the left navigation by Artist.

Unfortunately my collection is quite large and when I did this I broke something when I went to refresh now I can't get into the service at all.
