Unable to seek in videos [Solved]

Unread post by triptol »

I have tried a couple of versions of madsonic, but all with the same result: the dropdown next to offset, under the video plugin remains empty.

I tried switching to webm, but here the offset remains empty as well.

Factsheet:
OS: Debian
Tomcat 7
20131017_madsonic-5_Build_3760
java 1.7.0_21

The offset used to work under subsonic 4.8 on the same machine (be it with an older tomcat and java version), however I need madsonic for its multi-user capability.

Hello, i ran into the same problem for two location with only video in it.

this has drove me crazy as I kept on clisk on scan now and it remained empty.

solved it by doping a random mp3 in the folder and magically Madsonic accepted to scan the location !!

seems that Madsonic only scan vidéo if there is also music files with it ?

could it be a fix for that ?

linux SME Server- based on CentOS 5
smeserver-madsonic-5.0.3760-2
madsonic-5.0.3760-1
java-1.7.0-openjdk-1.7.0.45-2.4.3.1.el5_10

rpm made from madsonic-5.0.3760 version.

I don't know what I did on my installation. I did not include mp3 files, that is for sure.

I played a bit with WebM and back to flash and back to WebM and mixed in a rescan. And then it just worked. Even after the upgrade to build 3800 things are still working.
