GUI MediaType Override Saves?
Using Madsonic, I've selected to override to Directory in the GUI. But when it rescans or I add files into the directory, it switches back to Auto. Is this intensional or is Madsonic supposed to retain this setting for the directory in it's database permanetly?

Still struggling with this. Basically trying to determine if filetags are the only way to ensure setting mediatype long term, or if the madsonic db should retain them from scan to scan?

general a scan not reset the override, but if you make a Full scan with cleanup all your data incl. overrides will be refresh.
so in your case use mediatype file tags. this would work also if you make a complete cleanup or restart from scratch.
