About JAVA

Unread post by ananda96 »

First congrats to the new forum!

So, reading everyday horror news about 0-day exploits in latest Java 1.7.0.10 and older ones, does it make sense and would it work to avoid trouble installing Java SE Runtime Environment 8.0 Build 72 Dev?

as everybody knows, Oracle spreads extremly slow updates and does'nt react.
I run your builds only on localhost to handle my collection (W7x64SP1), disconnected webservices for now.

what do think about that?

hi,
have download 1.8 and will test this next week with Madsonic, but generally Beta Software isn't better approved of error and exploits.

What version of Java do you recommend for a standalone server?
