Are you sure that you have ID3V2 tags written to your files?.
Did you change the genre with external software or inside Madsonic?

I use a folderstructure with albumartist\allbum too, so I never verified it but as far as I know Madsonic uses albumartist if you disable folder sorting.

erm in order to keep your DB in a valid state, please don'T just put the system to sleep / hibernate or whatever. ensure a proper shutdown of the madsonic deamon and then send your system to sleep. once your db gets bigger you will face a lot of fails and errors with a currupted db structure. Some of my music files have very long artist names or title names.
So specially when I list samplers with artist and title showing it would be a good idea to have a maximum width of the columns of artist and title.
Is there any way to define such a maximum width and I have not found this yet?

I had a look at my statistics recently and noticed there are listed 0 Audiobooks.
As I have some audiobooks (MP3s) in my library - what do I have to do to get them listed as audiobooks?
