Madsonic Support

I'm sure the coding could be altered to save user info into an LDAP directory, and then use LDAP for authentication in Madsonic, but I'm not that experienced as a coder, so I wouldn't know how to do that.

I'd swear this was a feature on an earlier version of the Madsonic app for Android, and not sure if it was on iPhone or not, but I'd like to see a feature re-introduced where I can hit the "pause" button on my wired headphones twice in rapid succession to skip to the next song in my playli...

Sounds like the website you are using is converting the youtube video from the standard format that youtube uses (*.FLV??) into the format you selected. Should be safe as long as it doesn't send to a ZIP file or EXE file.

After running into a 503 error where the only(?) fix is to delete the database and essentially start over (or start from a backup if you have one), I/m hoping there's an easy way to restore settings or at least the user database from an export, or a backup, so a userbase is not lost.

You can try going to Settings, then Playlists, then import your playlists, but if you haven't backed them up, then the only thing you can do is recreate them from scratch. This sounds like an issue due to the location of the music files, compared to where you are running your server.

How are you connected to the location where your files are stored? If you are connected through "webdav", then it will be slow.
