Re: [Synology] VirtualHost / ProxyPass

hi ! i do not know how the synology station/system is build. But if you are able to alter your configuration of your apache demon then there will be no problem. As i read, you want to set up an apache proxy on port 80 for your madsonic, right ? 1. enable the proxy_module for apache, just ensure that...

Re: Buffering Question

3 possibilities: - build up a corporate like Wireless distribution -> no dropping signals, cable connected APS in every room OR since the webinterface has no option for buffering, change the system options for flash player like http://www.ehow.com/how_10018897_stop-buffering-flash-player.html OR as ...

Re: How to keep Windows awake only while Madsonic in active

i just recommend this step ! if the DB is big enough you can get in trouble. since hsqldb is only in RAM . not every sleep standby hibernate S7 state is the same. i just can report DB fail issues with hsqldb on 13xx GB media stuff -> DB apprx 350MB everytime a shutdown, reboot or sleep was triggered...

Re: How to keep Windows awake only while Madsonic in active

erm in order to keep your DB in a valid state, please don'T just put the system to sleep / hibernate or whatever. ensure a proper shutdown of the madsonic deamon and then send your system to sleep. once your db gets bigger you will face a lot of fails and errors with a currupted db structure.

Re: Bloody hsqldb

öhm Lars , the syntax is quite the same. it may differ for large left joins group link structures, but madsonic doesn't seem to use this. so the basics are the same, it justs need an other driver / connector / flansch / bridge - whatever. an initial written madsonic.sql file for import. ok you would...

Re: Album / Track title info not displaying, car stereo play

wait, erm ... your LG is linked ONLINE with your server ? if so, you will never get the track ids OR you never get the correct ones. the reason with mobile clients beeing linkes online not showing correct track infos, is the caching process. you will see the same behavior if you check your server vi...

Re: Java Error in Droid App

mhh try to check your starred files via webbrowser -> DB .. if there are more than 1 entry per artist/album/value, then remove them.
or remove them completly and start over again ... just to test and reproduce this behavior.

Re: How to make Madsonic download media faster?

try to monitor your network lines ... i guess the performance monitor should do it for an buildin solution ... - start your monitoring, - let someone pull a file ... - if there is only traffic on one line .. you have to do someting with your networkconfig. - if there is traffic on all lines , you mi...

Re: Apache reverse proxy madsonic, can't get it to work.

this works fine. <VirtualHost 192.168.2.3:80> ServerName music.power-server.at ProxyPass / http://192.168.0.3:4040/ ProxyPassReverse / http://192.168.0.3:4040/ </VirtualHost> since madsonic has its own usermanagement, you do not need a pre authentication. and due to routing from an external interfac...
