Try this:
In General settings change "Used video player - setting flash --> Chromecast
Next
Settings -->Reset --> change transcoding: Madsonic - FLV/WEBM/MKV - all-in-one (recommended)

Now you should able to skip mp4 videos

Hi, I managed to solve this problem. The problem is caused by user group access control. If group ALL didn´t have access to all media folders the scanning failed. Older builds this worked fine (if you have restrict access rights in group ALL) but in few newer ones had this feature or is it bug. Br -m-

I don´t mean playing via mobile.

If you generate playlist via Random menu (browser UI), then Playing-menu doesn´t change next song automatically (Artist, album art) Right panel "Now playing" changes next song ok).
You have to click manually Playing-button to change next song.
