problem still exists even on 5.1.5150. doesn't matter which browser I use. A user can never login after a password change. looking in the DB I see the password is only 6 digits long.
I've set -v 7 (debug) for all the transcoding settings but I don't see any ffmpeg debugging lines in "C:\madsonic\db\subsonic.log" nor "C:\madsonic\madsonic.log". I just wondered about the resolution ffmpeg converts the streaming media to... the size is set by the transcode command to -s %wx%h but this seems to default to 640 by something even for HD files. There should be a way to select HD when streaming a video so that videos that have 1080 get streamed in...

Make a subfolder at the root level (ie. S:\Madsonic) and put everything you want to share inside that folder. Then add that folder (not S:\) to the Media Library. well of course this is a solution... but I wanted to suggest that it might be a good idea to have exclude folder/file option in the sett...
