option for scan one folder

Is it possible to add an option for a new scan a folder without scanning all files?

I second this request.

I have all my media in Alphabetical order as below and add each folder separately in the Media folders for clean up purposes (disable & re-add)

..\MP3\..
\0-9
\A
\B
\C
\COMPILATIONS
\D
\...

However, with 50,000+ mp3s hosted on a network drive this can take a little time and pointless if I have only added one album this week.

Obviously this is not a huge WANT but a 'nice to have' function that I think a few users would benefit from.
