snapshot of version 7 server working well for me on Win 10.
However, I don't see any differences from version 6 except for the new Madsonic avatar
Thanks.

However as an end user, I would have liked a visible or audible reward for having upgraded. The upgrade process is always problematic mentally, because I am well aware that this type of beta/snapshot-ware may be unstable and cause problems or not function well. Therefore, the "tester" should be rewarded with some new feature that makes the process "feel" worthwhile in my opinion.
I guess my reward is the new logo.

I like the idea of getting rewarded, get colorful presents or even gift packs :-)zzzonedotnet wrote: ↑02 May 2019, 18:14 However as an end user, I would have liked a visible or audible reward for having upgraded. This is my way to keep my rewards as big as possible:
I read the Changelog and count the News or Bugfixes.
If I luckily find a topic I which I proposed somewhere in the forum, I count it double :-)
Then I decide if I might upgragde or not. (running system vs. maybe not running or instabil system)
In My case:
As well asNew ID3: add custom ID-tag reading/searching
New ID3: add multitag support for genre
New ID3: add multitag support for mood
New SCAN: settings to ignore symbolic links
New SCAN: settings to ignore files/folders during scan
New SEARCH: Apache Lucene 8.0.0 implementation (better search capabilities)
New SEARCH: improved search results
New GUI: option to show multivalues (genre, moods)
New GUI: use embedded cover art
New GUI: individual sorting on tables
New SCAN: improved folder scanning
Internal upgrades are mostly ...erm... internal and won't show any fancy banner/icons/stars aka new working menu-items.New DLNA: new experimental implementation in courtesy of Allen Petersen
New SCROLLBAR: refactor implementation
Bugfix PLAYQUEUE: fix lost snyc after rerangement
Bugfix SYSTEM: fix exception without internet connectivity
Bugfix THEME: fix browser issues
When I upgrade to betas, I expect more bugfinding and troubleshooting than a smoothy running alltimes best working piece of software.
I guess and hope, that the new logo is not all the news we will find while listening to our music with MadSonic ;-)
