6.3.9840.8df1ddd.20180107.0710 license issue

I believe I have a valid license with the email address fetchinson@googlemail.com and if I check it at

https://www.madsonic.org/backend/licenseStatus.view

I indeed get a confirmation of a valid license (see attachment). Nevertheless when I enter the email address and license key in

Settings > Madsonic Premium

I get "Invalid Madsonic license key!"

My madsonic version is 6.3.9840.8df1ddd.20180107.0710

Any ideas what's going on?

Hi there,

Technically, your license works in our test center.

It is more likely a connecting problem to our license server.
Do you use a proxy server? There may be a problem with your firewall rules or the router.

Same situation here,
My license was valid until June 2019. I Check it on https://beta.madsonic.org/backend/licenseStatus.view and it was ok until June. I update my license for another year and the situation is still the same. The server is Full Capable of accesing the net. (May be the license server down?)
I'm running Freenas 11.2 and MADSONIC 6.1.8700.3847bea.20160915.0741

Have you tried to run a newer Version of Madsonic, since 6.1 seems to be out of support?
You should migrate at least to 6.2 or join the 7.0 Beta which runs nice, except of a HTTPS Bug.

Madsonic 6.1 is very outdated, but we have build a patch release.

Upgraded by manually putting MADSONIC 6.2.9084.8df1ddd.20190425.1020 files. Server works but the license issue is still in the same situation.
