I'm running madsonic on a VM inside freenas. When I shut down freenas (e.g. to upgrade it), it kills the VM, as you'd expect. Pretty regularly though, it doesn't come back up, due to db errors.
So question 1: what's the approved way to shut down madsonic before rebooting its machine?
And question 2: is there a more robust database I can use with madsonic that might be resistant to this kind of corruption?
(The corruption isn't always the same; see my previous "bug report" for one such.)
Thanks,
Gary
