I have a fairly large collection of crack/keygen and demo tracks in different module formats. And wants to use madsonic to play/stream them.
I've previously created a Win32 build of this great mod file player/decoder: XMP (eXtended Modules Player).
I now finally took the time to recompile and fix some bugs in the Win32 implementation for the newest version of the player/decoder.
In order to use this player/transcoder you have to do the following:
Copy the files (xmp.exe & libxmp.dll) to the transcoder folder of Madsonic
Add the following to the existing list of music file extensions (found under settings -> general -> music files) :
Code: Select all
alm 669 mdl far xm mod fnk imf it liq mod wow mtm ptm rtm stm s3m ult dmf dbm med okt emod sfx m15 mtn amf gdm stx gmc psm j2b umx amd rad hsc flx gtk mgt mtp
Convert From :
Code: Select all
alm 669 mdl far xm mod fnk imf it liq mod wow mtm ptm rtm stm s3m ult dmf dbm med okt emod sfx m15 mtn amf gdm stx gmc psm j2b umx amd rad hsc flx gtk mgt mtp
Code: Select all
mp3
Code: Select all
xmp -Dlittle-endian -q -c %s
Code: Select all
lame -r -b %b -S --resample 44.1 - -
That's it.
I will try to keep the Win32 build of the XMP player/transcoder up to date. Else let me know if behind in the version.
