Re: Editing jsp files aka customization
I spent the day trying the old method that worked before where you install, kill the jetty folder and then apply the standalone and let it rebuild the jetty folder so you can edit the .jsp files. It doesn't work. Is there anyway to edit the current versions? I'll make a donation in hopes of an answe...

Re: [Solved] Editing JSP Files
Everything looks great. I noticed a few things that pushed me back to the old version: the "hot" feature on the Album covers isn't working. There's redundant data in the main window and the right panel. http://i.imgur.com/XNeU6o4.png The biggest deal breaker is the default "pop-up&quo...

Re: Editing JSP Files
There's no way to edit via the Jetty installs? Your link references Jetty and 5260. I'm trying to edit the jsp on 7200. Are you moving the Tomcat files over to a Jetty install?

[Solved] Editing JSP Files
I customize my installs. I installed 6 to check it out and again, it looks like you can't edit the jsp files.
Is there a trick to bypass the caching like there was in previous versions?
If so, could we get instructions?

Re: T-Mobile Free Music Streaming - Compatible with Madsonic
How do suggest T Mobile identifies the audio traffic as Madsonic traffic? By the Madsonic domain name? Pretty worthless if you don't use the madsonic address.

Re: How to convert to html5 from flash
Hi in terms of music, I see no personal reason to use html5 for it as there is no direct load using music files in Flash. hope this helps you / Chali Okay your myopic personal opinion aside, html5 is not a dying technology. The latest Chrome updates have broken the Flash player on my server. http:/...

Re: How to convert to html5 from flash
Well, I did a good chunk of the work on the initial html5ing for video. The issue with making the site use html5 for audio is the way that playlists are generated. However, because of the way I set up the external player, (madevil's code is all but identical), if you share the music that you would ...

Chiming in here with my 2cents. I take the product and re-write most of it to function they way I want it to. I've donated repeatedly for tech support and for guidance when I was in over my head with coding but a monthly fee is going to drive me away. I'll just roll up my sleeves and do a bit more o...

Re: One touch/click mood list selection
hi there, you have more options to modify your JSP file. with latest builds Madsonic 5.0 comes bundled with jetty8 so JSP files are precompiled to speedup the webapp and minimize read cycles from disk (embedded hardware). 1. use the back-ported jetty6 build (works like in old build versions) -> htt...

Re: One touch/click mood list selection
Can someone please elaborate\\explain how to do this please: "use the back-ported jetty6 build" I copied the files from '20140208_madsonic-5.0.3860-standalone.zip' I could not edit the .jsp files and then I tried the .war file from '20140208_madsonic-5.0.3860-war-jetty.zip' into c:\madsoni...
